We got the privilege of hosting a table again this year for the LifeCare of Brandon and Southshore. The event was amazing (as always) and they raised over $200,000! It was a fun dressed-up night out with friends for an awesome cause.

The following week, our church hosted an alternative to Halloween event called "Trunk or Treat". Our Bible Study Fellowship sponsored a trunk and handed out candy. Our theme was "superheroes" and we dressed up as Mr. & Mrs. Incredible. We had alot of fun with the kids and posing for pictures. I cracked up at all the little boys who asked Isaac to show his Mr. Incredible muscles.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say hello -- I noticed both of us are adopting siblings, and thought it would be fun to keep in touch. We went to Ethiopia on a mission trip months back and I took pics of the kids in the care centers - so keep in touch and let me know when you get a referral - I might have pics! :)
